Our story begins in a humble cottage in Devon, where two Spaniels and a naughty Jack Russel rule the roost…

After taking over the reins of ethical food retailer Pipers Farm, with her partner Will, Abby became immersed in a world filled with characters whose passion for what they produce lit a fire that was impossible to extinguish. It became her mission to share the inspirational stories of those she was meeting and to support their work keeping traditional craft alive.

Abby believes that products begin and end with people: the farmers who nurture our land, encouraging nature to thrive, and the artisans who with their skilled hands turn the finest raw materials into beautiful things. As such Maker & Grower was born.
